Blocking Springs

These blocking springs, formed into a circle, are a time saving device used to assist with the hat blocking process and to provide a much needed third hand to help mould your material firmly to the block. 

Although they work best with a block with a cord groove they are still a very useful device with practice.

As supplied, the assembled Brim spring is 15" in diameter and is suitable for blocking 17" (43cm) and larger sizes. For smaller brims, there is a section you can remove. 

The spring should be smaller than your block so the tension is enough to hold your material on the block.

Available for Brim (119cm circumference) or Crown (52.5cm circumference) blocks.
